Our membership package – broken down…

At the moment, we have one membership option available – Associate Member. We are working to bring you various levels of membership, with Associate Member being the most basic package. Upgrade deals will be available for our current members as new memberships are introduced.

All Associate Members are issued with a Member Badge and membership number to display as they wish on their email signature and social media.

We guarantee a minimum of 7 monthly online meeting opportunities for our associate members.

More meetings – Our associate members get access to exclusive meetings that the members of our Facebook group do not have access to, or have to pay to attend. This includes Education Updates, networking meetings and weekly access to ‘Ask the IQA’ – a drop in session with one of our IQA’s to give impartial help with your queries
Recorded CPD – Access to a recording of our CPD Live! sessions will be stored in our Associate Member’s Vault, making these viewable at the time of your choice, ensuring you never miss a CPD opportunity
Certificated CPD – Our Associate Members are rewarded with a certificate of attendance for any CPD sessions that they attend. Any non-associate members joining our free CPD sessions will not have this benefit!

Personalised documents – Our Associate Member Vault is currently in build, and is planned for 1st March 2024! This will be a treasure trove of template documents, how to guides and recordings of our CPD sessions and other helpful videos and tutorials. There will be some exclusive podcasts and interviews thrown in as soon as our HBQA Media Studio is finished
Training Discounts – All of our associate members will be entitled to discount on any of our paid training courses. There is also an exclusive discount for HBQA members on education and training (assessor, IQA and education & training packages) with our Partner Company, Essex Training Solutions Ltd.
Discounts on Quality Assurance and Consultancy – our Associate Member’s will benefit from a reduced rate of IQA, 1-2-1 mentoring or consultancy for any of our quality assurance or academy packages.

Why do I need to pay for membership?

You don’t!

Are all of the meetings online?

At the moment, yes.

We are hoping to be able to network with you all in person, however, we want to be able to include educators from all over the country. This also helps to keep membership costs down, and allows the team to mentor and support more individuals with the time they have.

How do I access the meetings?

Our meetings are set up using Zoom. We always set them up so that you do not need to have any specific software to join. You will have access to register for the meeting via the Associate Members Vault, Events page on the website, our Eventbrite page, the link sent out in our newsletter or via the event on our Facebook group!

Can I watch the meetings back at a later date?

All meetings are recorded, and uploaded to our Associate Members Vault. If you are an Associate Member (subscription fees apply), you will have access to watching these back. If you are a free member, you will need to join live to be able to take part in the meeting.

I can’t make one of the meetings. Will it be repeated?

Yes, we run these meetings more than once, however, we do manage our schedule based on member demand, and current issues within the Education and Training, or Hair, Beauty and Aesthetics Sector.

Don’t forget, if you are an Associate Member, you will get access to the replay via the Associate Member Vault.

How do I get my certificate of attendance to a CPD session?

If you are an Associate Member, you will be sent your CPD certificate shortly after you have attended the meeting, or after you have watched the replay. You will be sent a follow up email with a short questionnaire about the session and on completion of this, you will be sent your e-certificate.

Only Associate Members are able to access certificates for these sessions at present.
